Nagios startet nach einem "perl-cleaner --reallyall" nicht mehr

Hallo Leute

Ich verwende Nagios in Gentoo. Heute hab ich wieder mal ein Update des Systems gemacht, und es wurde Perl auch upgedatet.
dev-lang/perl-5.12.3-r1 <--- [5.12.2-r6]

Beim Perlclean werden 49 Pakete reinstalliert unter anderem auch Nagios. Nach einem Neustart von Nagios funktioniert es nicht mehr. Es sind so viel Fehlermeldung das ich das Problem nicht herausfinden kann. An meiner Config kanns ja normal nicht liegen, hat ja vor dem Reinstall funktioniert. Mir ist auch aufgefallen das im Verzeichnis /etc/nagios/objects/ snd einige Configs hinzugekommen die ich vorher nicht hatte. Aber es war kein Update von Nagios nur ein Reinstall zweck dem Perl. Ich versteh das nicht. Dieses Verzeichnis nach dem Reinstall:

Dazugekommen ist: localhost, printer, switch, templates, windows

Und jetzt kommt diese Mega Fehlermeldung. Ich habs mal getestet. Ist bei allen Nagios-Servern so.

naja ist doch ganz klar. die config dateien, die hinzugekommen sind, enthalten einfach nur testwerte, dort wird uA ein testrechner definiert mit ein paar checks, usw.
wo hast du deine config dateien abgelegt? diese verzeichnisse musst du wieder von hand in die nagios.cfg eintragen, damit er sie beim start auch beachtet.
spontan würde ich sagen, du kannst die hinzugekommenen dateien löschen, wenn du entsprechendes in deinen configfiles drin hast und sie in der nagios.cfg eingetragen sind.

nachtrag:
wenn dir löschen zu schnell geht, kannste die ja auch auskommentieren in der nagios.cfg, dann beachtet nagios diese files nicht mehr.

Oh, wow, das ist heavy. Ich dachte nicht das die Configs überschrieben werden. Ähm, sowas hatte ich bisher noch bei keiner Anwendung. Ich mein, nur mal ein Beispiel: Ich update meine VDR, und dann sind alle Aufnahmetimer, Channellists, usw. weg? Das würde ja gar nicht gehen.

Warum wird das bei einer Reinstallation überschrieben? Sieht doch irgendwie nach Bug aus, zumindest für mich.

Nachtrag: Also ich hab jetzt mal bei jedem Server das ganze /etc/nagios zurück gespielt. Funktioniert alles wieder wie vorher. Passiert das jetzt jedes mal wenn Nagios neu gebaut wird? Sämtlich Einstellungen am Thema des Webinterfaces wurden ja auch überspielt, wobei das jetzt fatal ist. Kann ich ja wieder einspielen.

Ja, aber keiner von Nagios. Wende dich mal an die Paket Maintainer deiner Distribution!

Man sollte halt immer ein Handtuch dabei haben ( grade heute am 25.5. ) und ein Backup wäre auch nicht schlecht.
