how can data be imported to icinga from nagios?

Hi everyone
It's an easy question. How can I realize visualization with icinga based on the data extracted from nagios? May I just export data stored in nagios database and import it to database of icinga?

Look forward to your reply and thank you. :)

it would be interesting, what your existing setup consists of, and which data (config, status, historical) you are planning to migrate, and for which interface (classic ui, icinga-web).

Well, at present I only have data stored in nagios and havn't installed icinga. I plan to use icinga based on the data I can retrieve from nagios. Perhaps it consists of the core with IDOUtils, plugins for nagios and several addons like nagvis to help visualize. All the historical data, config and status data are in need. As to the interface I prefer icinga-web. Do you think it's possible?

most of the things are within

- rentention.dat
- objects.cache (sourced from origin configs, should be regenerated either way)
- log archives (icinga can read nagios-$date.log too)
